The Indonesia Today Elnusa Operates New Barge, Secures US$23 Million Contract

Theindonesiatoday.com - Oil and gas services company PT Elnusa (ELSA) Tbk has commenced operation of Well Testing Barge ELSA 6 in KPP Handil Base, Total E&P Indonesie, East Kalimantan.

Elnusa said in a press statement that the barge will work for Total E&P Indonesie for three years at Tunu Tambora field for well testing, which is a service of Oilfield Services (OFS) division of the company.

This is the third well testing barge deployed by Elnusa for Total E&P Indonesie. With the operation of ELSA 6, Elnusa has now secured US$23 million contract for its OFS division this year.

"This is part of our targets of US$55 million revenue from OFS division this year," Heru Samodra, division head of corporate secretary of Elnusa said.

The ELSA 6 barge is delivered two weeks ahead of schedule.
