BANK MANDIRI (BMRI IJ) - BOOKS OPEN FOR PLACEMENT

Bookrunner in the placement of shares in Bank Mandiri (BMRI IJ) from the Government of Indonesia’s stake.

Deal Size:  1,558,152,476 Series B Common Shares, comprising all of the Rights Shares issuable upon exercise of the MSOE Rights in Bank Mandiri.  The shares do NOT come with attached rights.
 
Price Guidance:  Expected to be less than an 8.0% discount to TERP

Selling Restrictions:  Reg S and 144A

Fees & Charges:  1% commission plus normal secondary market charges

Timetable:

Books Open – now
Books Close:
5pm UKT Friday 21 January for UK investors
5pm NYT 21 January for US investors
9am HKT / 8am JKT 24 January for Asian investors
Trade Date:  Expected 26 January
Settlement Date:  Expected 14 February


Details of the Rights Issue:

1,000 rights for every 8,985 existing shares, in total representing 2,336,838,591 series B common shares.

Price range indicated at IDR4,000 - IDR 6,150; final price expected to be at less than a 16.0% discount to TERP

The rights issue will raise US$1bn to US$1.6bn.

Use of proceeds: Increase loan lending business
