Bloomberg Indonesia Stocks: Adaro, Aneka Tambang, International Nickel

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the 4 p.m. Jakarta-time close.

The Jakarta Composite index climbed 33.33 points, or 1 percent, to 3,442.50, rising for the first time in three days.

PT Adaro Energy (ADRO IJ), Indonesia’s second-biggest coal producer, jumped 6.7 percent to 2,400 rupiah, the biggest boost to the composite index. Adaro said full-year output gained 4 percent to 42.2 million tons from a year earlier. Sales volume rose 6 percent to 43.84 million tons.

PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM IJ), Indonesia’s second-largest nickel producer, added 4.6 percent to 2,275 rupiah, the steepest increase since Jan. 12. Aneka said fourth-quarter revenue increased 22 percent from a year earlier to 2.99 trillion rupiah ($331 million).

PT Bayan Resources (BYAN IJ), a coal producer, climbed 1.6 percent to 18,550 rupiah, the highest close since Jan. 4. Bayan said it signed an agreement with a unit of Singapore’s Tuas Power Ltd. to supply the utility with 13.36 million metric tons of coal for 15 years starting 2012.

PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO IJ), the nation’s biggest producer of the metal, rose 4.9 percent to 4,825 rupiah, the steepest advance since Aug. 2. Nickel futures gained 2.7 percent to $27,350 a metric ton in London yesterday, the biggest increase since Jan. 12.

PT Timah (TINS IJ), Indonesia’s largest tin mining company, gained 2.7 percent to 2,825 rupiah. Tin for three-month delivery rose 1.5 percent to $30,100 a metric ton in London yesterday, closing at a record.
