XL Axiata Moves Up to 18th, INCO Drops Out of Top 20 - The Indonesia Today

Telecommunication company PT XL Axiata (EXCL) Tbk has moved up to the 18th largest company on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization, while nickel producer PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO) Tbk dropped out of Top 20.
As of Friday, March 11, EXCL had market capitalization of Rp49.3 trillion. The stock gained 9.4% year-to-date, second best in the Top 20 behind Bank Danamon (+11.4%). XL Axiata extended the gap with Indosat (ISAT) to Rp20 trillion as ISAT currently has market cap of Rp27.4 trillion only. Indosat is still the second largest cellular player behind Telkomsel by number of users.
INCO, meanwhile, dropped to No 21 with market capitalization of Rp46.5 trillion due to substantial correction in the past few trading days. INCO lost 4.1% year-to-date. Nickel dropped substantially by 10% to US$25,975 per ton for the week ended March 11.
Two other miners, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) and Bukit Asam (PTBA) were both 19th and 20th largest with market capitalization of Rp48.4 trillion and Rp47.1 trillion respectively. ITMG and PTBA dropped 15.6% and 10.9% respectively year-to-date.
