Astra Agro 2M CPO output surges 23.7% - Insider Stories

Palm oil producer PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) reached 174,596 tons of CPO as of February 2011.
In an investor bulletin submitted to Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today, the February's figure was 23.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
The increase was mainly propelled by the rise in nucleus and plasma's fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production.

During this period, FFB production rose 18.4% to 641,053 tons from 541,366 tons.
Last year, Astra Agro posted IDR8.8 trillion in net sales revenue last year, a 19.1% increase from IDR7.4 trillion in the previous year.
In 2010, Astra Agro traded CPO at IDR7,027 per kg, represented a 12.6% increase from the previous year, while CPO sales volume inched up 5.2% to 1.11 million tons.
