Intraco Profit Jumps 124% - The Indonesia Today

Heavy equipment supplier PT Intraco Penta Tbk booked net profit of Rp83 billion last year, jumped 124% from 2009 on strong sales and improved margin.

Intraco reported sales revenue of Rp183 trillion last year, surged 55.3% from 2009, while gross profit increased substantially to Rp316.64 billion. Intraco also managed to boost its operating profit by 71.6% to Rp151.8 billion.

The stock, INTA, closed at Rp3,500 last Friday (March 25). At that price, INTA currently has market capitalization of Rp1.51 trillion. The stock surged from Rp620 early last year to as high as Rp3600.

INTA reported earning per share of Rp192 last year. Intraco had total assets of Rp1.63 trillion and equity of Rp412 billion as at December 31, 2010.
