Pamapersada Coal Production Grows 6.7%, Overburden Rose 8.5% - The Indonesia Today

Pamapersada Nusantara, a subsidiary of United Tractors (UNTR), produced 8 million tons of coal last month, an increase of 6.7% from June 2011 and 27% from July 2010.



Pamapersada's overburden removal, meanwhile, increased 8.5% to 76.7 million BCM or a 42.8% jump from July 2010.

The company produced 47.9 million tons of coal in the period of January-July 2011, increased 8.9% from the same period last year, while overburden removal soared 20% in the period.

United Tractors (UNTR) shares closed lower by 6.37% to Rp23,500 Friday (August 19). The stock is now 11.7% below its peak (Rp26,600).
