Jasa Marga to Build 215-Km Toll Road - The Indonesia Today

State-owned toll road developer and operator PT Jasa Marga (JSMR) Tbk plans to build 215-KM long of new toll roads with investment of up to Rp25 trillion.

Jasa Marga hopes this would support government's Master Plan for Acceleration and Expansion of Economic Development, known as MP3EI, which starts this year.

"For MP3EI, Jasa Marga will build 215-KM long of toll roads with Rp25 trillion of investment," said Frans Sunito, CEO of Jasa Marga, Sunday (August 21) as quoted by Detik.com.

Frans said if land acquisitions would go smoothly, the toll roads can be in operation by 2014. He said that Jasa Marga would finance the projects with internal generated funds (30%) and external financing, including bank loans.

Jasa Marga plans to build the Tanjung Benoa Utara toll road in October. The company seeks financing of up to Rp1.5 trillion to finance the Rp2 trillion project.
