Indonesia Stocks: Astra, Kalbe, Multi Prima, Unilever Indonesia - Bloomberg

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the 4 p.m. Jakarta-time close.

The Jakarta Composite index (JCI) retreated 11.34 points, or 0.3 percent, to 3,591.52, declining for a third day. The gauge has lost 3 percent this quarter, set for the first decline since the three months ended Dec. 31, 2008.

PT Astra International (ASII IJ), Indonesia’s biggest automotive retailer, fell 3.9 percent to 54,700 rupiah, the sharpest drop since Jan. 31. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. reduced the stock to “sell” from “neutral,” citing higher auto taxes, supply constraints following Japan’s earthquake and increased cost pressures.

PT Kalbe Farma (KLBF IJ), Indonesia’s biggest pharmaceutical company, gained 3.3 percent to 3,175 rupiah, the highest close since Jan. 6. Kalbe Farma said 2010 net income jumped 38 percent from a year earlier to 1.29 trillion rupiah ($148 million).

PT Multi Prima Sejahtera (LPIN IJ), an automotive spare- parts producer, rose 7.3 percent to 2,575 rupiah, the highest close since Feb. 8. The company said 2010 net income increased 38 percent from a year earlier to 14.12 billion rupiah.

PT Skybee (SKYB IJ), an Indonesian manufacturer of mobile phones, advanced 6 percent to 530 rupiah, the most since Feb. 10. Skybee said 2010 net income jumped more than five-fold from a year earlier to 19 billion rupiah.

PT Unilever Indonesia (UNVR IJ), the nation’s biggest detergent maker, declined 2.9 percent to 15,300 rupiah. The company reported today 2010 net income of 3.39 trillion rupiah, less than the 3.6 trillion rupiah mean estimate of 18 analysts in a Bloomberg News survey.
