Astra International: Buy; Rp55,850; TP Rp65,000; ASII IJ 4W and 2W February unit sales results - DBS Vickers

In February 2011, Astra International (ASII)'s 4W & 2W sales grew 21.3% y-o-y and 13.4% y-o-y, to 38,001 and 319,820 units, respectively. The sales figures translate into m-o-m declines of 10.3% for 4W and 8.3% for 2W. The market share for 4W vehicles has dropped slightly to 54.7% (vs 57.4% in January) while 2W sales is getting stronger at 52.4% (from 49.9% in January). Although both 4W and 2w sales declined in a m-o-m basis, automotive sales are usually at the lowest in the earlier months in the year with sales peaking just before Eid uI-Fitr (which will come in August for 2011). Maintain Buy and target price of Rp65,000 for ASII.
