Bank Bukopin has decided to offer 2.05 billion new shares at Rp520 per share to raise Rp1.066 trillion or about US$118 million.
The rights issue price of Rp520 is a 13.3% discount to the last quoted price of Bukopin shares at Rp600 (Friday, Jan 21). At Rp600, Bukopin currently has market cap of Rp3.66 trillion.
According to Bukopin's prospectus this morning, controlling shareholders (Kopelindo, Yabinstra, and Kopkapindo) will not exercise their rights to subscribe 1.194 billion new shares. They sold their rights to PT CIMB Securities Indonesia.
Bukopin had total assets of Rp43 trillion as at September 30, 2010. The bank booked net profit of Rp336 billion in the first nine months of 2010.
