Recent development in toll road sector by Sarina Lesmina - CLSA

· Citra Marga (CMNP IJ) is interested in five new toll road projects in Greater Jakarta, currently under due diligence process. One of the toll roads is Cinere-Jagorawi. Jasa Marga, apparently are also interested in more Greater Jakarta toll roads.

· Cikampek-Palimanan toll road will have its concession agreement amended by end of August 2011. This 116km is part of the 24 stalled toll-road projects, out of which half already had its concession agreements amended recently. This section belongs to Surya Semesta (SSIA) partnering with UEM from Malaysia. Land clearing has reached 71.06%.

· 9 toll roads proposed a total Rp1tn land revolving fund for land clearing. These nine are JORRW2N, Cengkareng-Kunciran, Kunciran-Serpong, Depok-Antasari, Surabaya-Mojokerto, Ciawi-Sukabumi, Pejagan-Pemalang, Semarang-Batang and Semarang-Solo. Note that all Jasa Marga new projects are utilizing this scheme from the government.

· Bakrie Toll Road had utilized land revolving fund from government to clear its Pejagan-Pemalang toll road. Land clearing had reached 90% for first section and 30% for the second one. Construction is expected to start in 2Q12. Separately, CMNP also asked from government to disburse Rp484bn land revolving fund to start the land clearing in September for its Depok-Antasari project. Currently, land cleared was less than 1%.
